Fall Lipstick Favourites!

One thing I love about Fall is pulling out all my dark lipsticks! I love rocking a dark lip, and I would wear it year round, but I wouldn’t have the same excitement about Fall if I did! It would be like drinking Pumpkin Spice Lattes all year, you would have nothing to look forward to and you would get bored with it!

For today’s posts I decided to share my favourite Fall lipsticks!

Inglot – 436

I never thought I would sport a grey lipstick, but I bought this Inglot matte lipstick to try it out and I ended up loving the colour on myself! It has a purple undertone which I like and it’s not too dark.

The only thing I don’t like is how drying the lipstick is, before applying I like to add a lip balm to prevent too much drying.

Wet n Wild – Sugar Plum Fairy

There is nothing like a cheap and cheerful lipstick and this is one of them! I love the Wet n Wild lipsticks, the pigment is on point and the wear of the lipstick is also amazing!

I love wearing this Sugar Plum Fairy shade during the Fall/Winter months because it is a nice deep berry shade! I am quite pale so wearing dark lipsticks can be daring sometimes but this shade is perfect!

Jeffree Star – Sagittarius

Jeffree Star has become my go to for liquid lipsticks, I just don’t think I am going to find anything better! This shade is from his Christmas 2016 range, and it caught my eye straight away!

I had a lipstick this shade a long time ago and it was discontinued so I was delighted to find it in a liquid lip form! Although it is on the dark side I still feel like I can pull it off, especially with a mute smokey eye!

Jeffree Star – Androgyny

When I first bought this I couldn’t put it down I wore it pretty much all throughout Fall last year! One thing I dislike about dark lipsticks is how obvious it is when it transfers and starts to disappear or bleed on the lips, but thankfully I don’t have to worry about that with these liquid lips, so I tend to wear them more!

Fuschia – Sophisticated Wine

Even in Fall I like to wear a bright lip, but I try to go for a shade that is more suited to the fall season and this colour is the perfect shade! It is subtle and not bright neon pink that you might wear during the festival summer months! Sometimes I even like to mix this shade with a darker lip liner to create a nice ombre effect!

Maybelline – 975 Divine Wine

This matte lipstick was another go to for me during the Fall/Winter months last year! Although it is matte it is so comfortable to wear and not drying on the lips, which is great for a drug store lipstick! Again if I am feeling daring I will mix it with a darker lip liner to create an ombre effect! I definitely see this one being worn a lot again this year!

Maybelline – 547 Pleasure Me Red

There is nothing like a nice red lipstick! This one is definitely one of my favourites because it is slightly on the darker side of red! This is also very comfortable to wear and I don’t find it bleeds as much as other red lipsticks I have tried in the past! Swatching this lipstick gave me some serious Christmas vibes and I got so excited for the festive months!!

Wet n Wild – Mauve Outta Here

Another Wet n Wild love of mine! This shade is much brighter than all the lipsticks I have shown in this post, but it is here for a reason! I like to mix darker lip liners and darker lipsticks with this shade to create a new colour! One of my favourite to mix with it is the Inglot Grey lipstick! This picture also makes the lipstick look brighter than it is, it is more of a deep pink shade!

MAC – Brave

I love this lipstick so much, which you can clearly see from the picture, I am nearly down to the plastic holder on the inside! I wore this almost everyday when I was in college because it was such an easy colour to wear and it was the perfect shade! Definitely one I will have to repurchase!

MAC x Rihanna – RiRi Woo

This red is R E D!! This was the first MAC lipstick I bought! I was on the hunt for a red lipstick and I spotted this in the MAC store, so I bought it, along with MAC’s Cherry lip liner! I love this lipstick especially when I am in my daring mood! But the only downside is how much it bleeds and transfers! It is a matte lipstick and is quite drying on the lips, but I just find it gets everywhere. But I still find myself pulling it out of my collection and wearing it anyway!

MAC x Ariana Grande – Viva Glam

Last but not least is a somewhat recent addition! This shade is much more darker than I am used to, but it seems perfect for this season, especially Halloween! I definitely have to feel confident wearing this out, but sure it is only make up!! I love to wear it with a simple eye look, a crease shade, liner and some lashes, very minimal!

Full Line Up!

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed this post!

What is one of your Fall go to lipsticks??

Love, Tanya

Bath Time Essentials!

I love nothing more than a long bubble bath pamper session after a long day! There are several things I love to use during my pamper session and I thought I would share them with you!

Lush Bathbomb

Brightside Bubble Bar

Bath time wouldn’t be the same without my favourite Lush bath bombs or bubble bars! I have so many favourites, I find it hard to choose which one to use! I have currently been loving the Lush Lava Lamp bath bomb and the Brightside Bubble Bar!

Lava Lamp Bathbomb

Sometimes I like to mix two together, I will use a bath bomb and half or a third of a bubble bar, that way I’m getting the fun colours of the bath bomb and the big bubbles from the bubble bar!

Body wash

I have tried so many different products, but none have come close to the Aveeno Daily Moisturising Yogurt Body Wash. My skin hasn’t felt this amazing in a long time! The product is packed with natural ingredients such as Oatmeal and it has a lovely creamy consistency, the scent of the product is something else, fresh and sweet! I like to use a rough surface cloth to apply this product, this way I get the benefits of using a scrub without having the bits left all over my skin! The Aveeno body wash is more pricey but is definitely worth the investment!

Face wash & Cloth

I try not to use a lot of products on my face, because I don’t like the idea of all the chemicals on my skin! If I have make up on, I like to remove it using the Cleanse off Face Mitt and sometimes I will use the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Gel Wash if I am wearing heavy make up, but I am on the hunt to find a better make up remover which has less chemicals in it. If you are trying to cut down on skin care products I would highly recommend the Cleanse off mitt, it removes make up fast and effectively, and will save a lot of money on face wipes, as it can be washed and reused!

Face Mask

Face masks are a must for bath time, I used to use a lot of drug store face masks, but again I am trying to cut down on the amount of chemicals I use on my face! I purchased the Lush mask, Mask of Magnaminty, this is my all time favourite as it can be used as a scrub also! I like to keep mine in the fridge so it is ice-cold when I apply it to the skin, this is very refreshing during the summer!

Other face masks I like to use include, The Sanctuary Spa 5 minute detox mask and the Glam Glow Super Mud Mask. (Again I will be replacing them with a more natural product)

When I am having a bubble bath pamper session I like to watch something on my laptop! Most of the time I will watch YouTube videos or some episodes of Gilmore Girls! The odd time I will bring a book with me instead.

Body Lotion

The Aveeno Daily Moisturising Creamy Oil is definitely my new favourite, this moisturizer is so good and has really hydrated my skin! The consistency is perfect as it spreads really well and you only need a little bit! Again it is a bit more pricey than your standard drugstore moisturizer, but it is definitely worth the extra few euro!

They are my Bath Time Essentials, what are yours?? Leave me a comment, I’d love to hear from you!

Thank you for reading!

Make-Up Wish List

I promised myself I wouldn’t buy any more make up until I use up what I have, but it is easier said than done! I’ve made a list of a few products I want to add to my make up bag and they are follows….

Benefit Hoola Lite

I’m Irish and I have paler than pale skin and most bronzers are actually too dark for me! I currently use the original Hoola bronzer, which I apply very light handed, as it is too dark for my skin. When I seen Benefit had released the Hoola Lite I got so excited, I love nothing more than a natural looking contour and I feel like I will finally achieve that with this product!

Jeffree Star Liquid Lipsticks

I loved the idea of liquid lipsticks and how they are long-lasting. Out of all that I have tried, Jeffree Star is the only product that does as it says!

I have 2 of his liquid lipsticks and I can’t get enough of them, they are perfect for a long day when you need your lipstick to stay in place!

I love pink lipsticks, I usually go for a more natural nude pink, but this shade would be so pretty for the summer months!

Rich Blood

When I first heard about metallic lipsticks I wasn’t 100% on board, I much prefer mattes and sheens. I expected the metallics to be a bit over the top, but when I seen Jeffree’s shades I was blown away!

This shade is just amazing, I love how it is a simple red but has been spiced up by adding a pink glitter!

No Tea No Shade

Although it is summer I need this liquid lip, I don’t think I even need to explain why, just look at that swatch image!! 😍😍

Jeffree Star Androgyny Palette

I have so many palettes already and I hardly get to use the half of them, but this palette is definitely a must buy for me! The shades are so pretty and the pigmentation is supposed to be incredible, well if it is anything like his liquid lips then I am happy out! That blue tho!😍😍

The Jaclyn Hill Morphe Palette

I am beyond excited for this palette, it has every possible shade a girl could need! I love how Jaclyn even included some cream shadows, which I cant wait to try, as I never tried them before! The pigmentation of the glitter shadows is just life! I am just hoping I will  be able to get my hands on one, I bet they will sell out in seconds!

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation

Last but not least, I’ve seen loads of Youtubers using this foundation and every one of them make it look incredible on! Iv been using the Revlon Colour stay for a long time now and before that I used M.A.C’s studio fix, but I want to try something new, something more luxurious, to see what I am missing out on! 😂

This is the end of my wish list, for now, I am sure something else will creep its way onto it soon enough!😂

Have you got any of these products? or are they on your wish list too? let me know here or on my social media, I’d love to hear from you 😘

Thank you for reading

Current Beauty Favourites

Today’s post is a collection of beauty products that I have been loving for the past while!

I have had to control my spending when it comes to beauty products, I was always buying products I didn’t actually need! Now I refuse to buy anything unless it was essential to my everyday. The joys of saving! 😂

The following are products I have been using a lot lately and have been really enjoying.

Primark PS. Pure Glow Highlighters

I was always skeptical about Primark make up, as I didn’t think anything that affordable could be so good, but this highlight palette proved me wrong!

I bought it on a recommendation from a friend and also because I actually needed new highlighters!

I haven’t put it down since I got it, it is highly pigmented and looks so good on my skin! However there is some fall out, but I can over look that!

€6.00 for 4 highlighters, where can you go wrong!

Revlon Photoready Primer

For ages I’ve been using the Nivea for men post shave balm and that has been amazing, but I decided I wanted to go back to using a regular make up primer! I chose this Revlon one and I haven’t gone back since!

This primer is so smooth and easy to apply, it honestly makes my skin look flawless and so smooth! Even on days when I’m not wearing make up, I will just pop on a bit of this and off I go!

Obviously its more pricey than the post shave balm, but I don’t mind paying for good results!😂

Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Color – ?

Another Revlon product, yes I love their products and this probably wont be the last time I talk about them!😂

I’ve had this lip colour a while now, but I recently dug it out and I have been wearing it a lot. I love this shade of red, it looks very well with my skin tone and doesn’t make my teeth look yellow!😂🙏

Although it says it is a matte lip stick, it doesn’t dry fully! It is highly pigmented and very comfortable to wear, but it doesn’t dry to the extent of other matte liquid lipsticks. I enjoyed this product so much, that I have been planning on buying a few lighter shades for the summer, they have some gorgeous nudes and pinks! 💄

Rimmel London Exaggerate Lipliner – Eastend Snob

Behold!! The most amazing shade lip liner that has ever lined lips!!😂😂😂

OK maybe that was a bit of an exaggeration, but honestly, this is by far my favourite lip liner! This shade is just heaven, and clearly I am not the only person who thinks so, as it took me weeks to get my hands on a new one!

It is a very comfortable liner and it holds up very well in comparison to any lipsticks I wear with it! When the lipstick is gone the liner is still there!

I love to pair it with the Maybelline Colour sensational lipstick in the shade Pink Fling! These two together are amazing, and I always get complemented on it!

Primark PS.. Blend & Cleanse Sponge Cleanser

This is another product recommendation by one of my friends, and they didn’t do me wrong! This product is meant for cleaning make up sponges, but I have used it to clean my brushes too.

It foams up so well and it removes all the product from the brushes, to the point the brushes look brand new!

I used to use the Real Techniques Cleansing Gel and that was very good too, but this product seemed to clean out even the worst of my brushes!

I used it to wash over 30 brushes and I still have a fair amount left, so for €2.50 it is definitely worth testing out!

Garnier Skin Active Moisture Bomb Day & night Cream

I suffer pretty bad with dry skin, especially when there is a change in the weather, which is pretty much this time of the year!

I have been using these a while now and they really do add moisture to your skin! I find both of them to be very refreshing, especially the night cream!

Garnier have really been upping their game lately, they have also brought out a range of skin care face masks and they are also very good! My favourite so far is the moisture burst face cloth mask!

Garnier Skin Active Micellar Cleansing Gel wash

I’m sure by now everyone has seen, heard or tried the Garnier micellar Cleansing water, but this my friends is the new kid on the block!

To me this is much better than the water and I will explain why!

  1. I don’t have to go through 10 face pads to get all of my make up off
  2. foams up really well!
  3. Refreshing
  4. I can rub it over my eyes! (the old cleaner I had I couldn’t use on my eyes, so Id have to remove my eye make up with loads of face pads and then remove the make up with a hot cloth cleanser)

All in all this product cuts my skin care routine in half and saves me money on the amount of face pads and wipes I had to use before!

Garnier Ultimate Blends Heat Protection Milk

I curl and straighten my hair a lot, so it is important I protect it with heat spray! This is the recent one I have tried and I love it! It doesn’t leave my hair feeling rubbery or greasy and it smells amazing!

I recently started growing my hair out, I have had so many dyes in my hair over the years and my hair has really suffered from it! I have been growing out the dyes by getting my hair regularly cut and I haven’t dyed it since. I am about 2 – 3 cuts away from having my hair free from dye!! 🎉🎉

My hair has never looked or felt as good as it does now, so I have started to take as much care for it as I can!

Herbal Essences Daily Detox Shampoo & Conditioner

I only realised recently that the shampoo and the conditioner have two different scents! 😂😂 Clearly I got them mixed up, because the lids are the same colour!

Anyway the products are still great! I find them very light in my hair, my hair doesn’t feel heavy after using them and the scents are just heaven!

They are very fresh and not over powering. The golden raspberry and mint is by far my favourite, so I will need to go and get the right shampoo!

My hair feels so soft every time I use this shampoo and conditioner, I keep getting complements on how shiny and soft my hair feels, Iv even been told it feels like baby hair it is that soft!

I honestly love trying different shampoos, but I think I will stick with this one for now!

That is pretty much all the beauty products I have been loving at the moment!

Is there any beauty products you have been loving lately? or any recommendations? Leave me a comment at let me know 😀😘

Thank you for reading!
